Same issue with Secure boot enable and file system encrypted. The only
workaround i find was at the login screen toggle to shell Crtl Alt F3,

Both 'iptables' and 'ip*tables-restores' sleep and wait until the lock
is released if no 'wait' option. If 'wait' option is set, it wait for
the amount of time instructed and stop waiting.

It seems like Ubuntu/Debian will have to start by having a 'compatible'
PA
I found the issue. The CTKI is an idiot who didn't realize System Volume
is per device, and not global. Only took me 2 days to find out.
I don't think I can close the issue myself, please close it before it
wastes somebody's time.
