I wanted to change my shell to zsh so I installed the zsh package and
then used the chsh command as so:
chsh -s $(which zsh)
After running the command I am shown the errors:
(2021-11-02 12:54:47:928739): [sss_cache] [confdb_get_enabled_domain_list]
(0x0040): Failed to get [domains] from [sssd], error [2] (No such file or
directory)
(2021-11-02 12:54:47:928885): [sss_cache] [init_domains] (0x0020): Could not
initialize domains
(2021-11-02 12:54:47:949846): [sss_cache] [confdb_get_enabled_domain_list]
(0x0040): Failed to get [domains] from [sssd], error [2] (No such file or
directory)
(2021-11-02 12:54:47:949987): [sss_cache] [init_domains] (0x0020): Could not
initialize domains
I also receive this error when just running chsh without any parameters.
The change is successful, even though the error might lead you to
believe otherwise. After logging out and back in, zsh was my default
shell.
>From what I can tell from a quick search, the error has to do with SSSD
and Active Directory support so I assume there is something happening
around that but honestly don't know enough about it to know if that's
correct.
Please let me know if there's any additional information needed and
thanks for all you do to create and support Ubuntu.
