I customized my icons by changing the folder image. That worked fine in

When I upgraded to 19.04 my customized icons no longer showed the new
image, and to fix that I did... something. Install Nemo deskop, I
think, but I can't find a configuration or uninstall
I have reclaimed /var/lib with chown to root:root and now everything is
working.

So after some more investigation it's clear that the problem is
inconsistent. Sometimes wake immediately follows suspend, sometimes not.
Sometimes it takes a while to wake up, up to a few minutes, other times
it's immediate. Occasionally, it seems to suspend fine; or maybe I'm not
waiting long enou
Scratch that; the first couple suspend operations did work, and then
they stopped again. I'll do more testing and report back. I did rule out
mouse movement by using the hardware power switch on the mouse.

I believe this issue was due to "legacy suspend" rather than "modern

Adding some detail here: Switching back to xorg reproduces the bug 100%.
I can click on the launcher, it seems to be the only thing that'll
receive my clicks while the bug is active, but new apps launched while
the bug is active are also unable to see mouse clicks.
Kernel is 4.15.0-29-generic #31-

just want to confirm that for me the issue was solved by commenting out
rlimit-data and rlimit-stack. I had solved it ages ago using this thread above,
and had completely forgotten about it. I was reminded of the issue as my
computer was updating (and asking about this conf file),

There are 2 monitors connected to 1 GPU. The monitor connected via a
digital connection always comes up correctly. The monitor connected via
DISPLAYPORT does not come up, even though the machine is booting
correctly.
It's almost like the DP path isn't recognized by xorg.

I tried running nodejs on Ubuntu Mate 18.04. When I ran it, it asked me
to install it, I didn't know where to report this or where it was
referring so I guessed it was apt.
The command 'nodejs' can be ""intsalled"" by typing:
sudo apt install nodejs

I am also having the same issue on my Thinkpad E460 under Ubuntu 17.10.
It started a couple of week ago and got really annoying. Sometimes the
connection is just gone for a few seconds up to 2 or 3 minutes and
sometimes it seems turning the WiFi module off and on again helps. The
same problem occur
I can confirm this issue no longer affects Ubuntu 18.04, as recently
viewed items are removed upon deletion.
