the older implementation (bsdmainutils) too and the same issue persists. So the
root cause is the default wordlist.

Deduping the package helps only marginally. The blobs are symlinked
already, actually the directories are and not the files. After looking
closer at the resulting initrd it seems initramfs-tools doesn't handle
smymlinked directories but only symlinked files. Hence we end up with
dupes :-(

I installed gnome-online-accounts 3.50.4-0ubuntu2 in Ubuntu 24.04, but
it still doesn't seem to fix the issue.
This is what worked for me:
I open GNOME's settings, navigated to Online Accounts, clicked
"Calendar, Contacts and Files | WebDAV", and entered these details:

Running remote X11 applications (more pronounced on those built on top of
python-tk or tcl/tk) connected through ssh -CXY in the recent 24.04 resulted in
extremely slow performance, which makes it almost impossible to work.
My computer that is affected, was based on xubuntu
I checked the gcc packages, and indeed the lib32z1-dev dependency has
been fixed, including in the oracular release pocket. I think we're
hitting a bug in reverse-depends, since it shows up even for riscv64:
