Removable storage device reset in 22.04, works fine in 16.04
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
This is a kobo ebook reader. When I plug it in it connects but gets
reset by something.
I tried several cables and ports, same result. The device works fine on
16.04.
some things are shown in dmesg:

The krb5 documentation says that DEFCCNAME is /tmp/krb5cc_%{uid}. But
actual credential cache file names look like:
/tmp/krb5cc_127408622_wH2NwY
Setting [libdefaults] default_ccache_name to krb5cc_%{uid} in
/etc/krb5.conf produces the expected credential cache file.

FYI, today, I tried installing Elementary OS 7 on the same computer.
After the initial installation, HDMI Audio was recognized. However after
the second (I think - or 3rd) subsequent system update, HDMI Audio
disappeared from the sound settings.

I am using the work-around with $WORDLIST, and it works fine, but IMO I
shouldn't have to.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Plugin laptop into external monitor (HDMI).
2. Leave laptop idle until it sleeps.
3. Unplug laptop from monitor.
At this point the laptop is stuck with a black screen and I cannot
regain control using any of the Ctrl + Alt + F{N} chords. I am forced to
