NetworkManager does a scan every 2 minutes.
It can lead to latency issues, lost packets or disconnections.
To disable it, you can set the BSSID in your WIFI access point profile
(in the network settings).

With the Pro 5, the problem still exists. Last year I reviewed the MX4

do-release-upgrade's to get to Yakkety. I may have hit the bug in some
package in one of those upgrades that has since been EOL'd.

Sometimes, when I start my desktop I get pixelated fonts in the menu and
title bar (See attached: Font-Bugs.png)
This behaviour also comes with Chrome not being able to use system title
and border bars.
If I do `sudo service lightdm restart` enough times things go back to n
Oh it does, oxide has a PowerSaveBlocker implementation that invokes the
"keepDisplayOn" method of the com.canonical.Unity.Screen D-Bus
interface. Could it be that the landing of repowerd broke that
interface, by any chance?

i don't know why it's not showing the network indicator :'(
but i have network and i can browse the web and install apps from the store and
stuff, i reported this bug from unity8 :D. i'm using unity8 on the desktop
since yesterday! YAY! (i'm silly like that)
