Wow. Even more weird, it seems the cursor moves more slowly the faster
you move the mouse. For fastest cursor movement in Unity8 you have to
move the mouse more slowly.
Feels like pointer acceleration done backwards. Although the underlying
Mir version is still 0.17 so nothing's changed there. It'
Still persists upstream.
But it only seems to happen when I watch netflix with google chrome
while undocking. Also, the audio continues to play after the xserver
crashed, i.e. I see the tty but still hear the audio.

I just discovered a feature - double tapping the button at the bottom of
the MX4 opens the greeter. on the device I use daily it seems this also
works with the screen off. On another test unit I was able to get it

I think I might have had the issue you described (crash when clearing hhistory
from new tab view) I just assumed that clearing the history would close all
tabs instead of realizing it was a crash. If I clear the history from a normal
tab it does work.
