Well, come to find out I had no data connectivity on my cellular
network, regardless I think whoopsie should be a bit more informative
here.

Looking at my /var/log/upstart/whoopsie.log I saw the following. My wifi
connection was disabled, however I had cellular and data connectivity.
Notice that whoopsie just says that it is offline and cannot reach
daisy.ubuntu.com, while it should indicate what the default route
