From what I remember, exim is SMTP. What is your IMAP server? Courier
by any chance? Does this error happen quickly? How many users' are on
the system? Does this happen for all users? Have you looked in the mail
/Deliver.class.php in the foldLine function.
If you're talking about the handling of incoming messages, then I
believe the issue is in class/mime/Rfc822Header.class.php in the
parseHeader function. The culprit is likely to be the str_replace at

set folder list that the admin on the server created? If so, create a
script to edit the subscription file. This isn't really a SquirrelMail
issue, but a general IMAP one as the same would apply if using
Outlook, or Sylpheed
which dropped nicely to 1 a week, and is now
back up to 25 a week. Either the spammers are getting better, or the
method of catching them is starting to crumble.
As a method of testing, can you view some of the spam that got through
the spam filter, and verify t
possible?

have been bounced because they were posted form non-subscribed
users. I'm guessing that a member of both the devel and users list
is infected with the Sobig virus [1]. As this is a list, there are a

That's because they all (more or less) use the LSUB command, which
returns the list of subscribed folders. There is another command LIST
which returns all possible mailboxes, which is what IMAP clients use
to fetch a list of folders that can be subscribed to.

the cause?
It's line wrapping, and perfectly legal in the RFCs. If the line
length exceeds a certain amount, we wrap it... and those lines are
pretty long, so they get wrapped.
