Notice, no Mime-Version header. Without this, 1.4 doesn't consider it
real HTML. Standards compliance is the reason given by the developers. I
tried hacking the code to no result. I also tried getting the sender, CBS
Marketwatch, to clean up their act. Same result. So I hacked the
messages.
I'm using 1.4. This is an example of a message that appears as text.
Header**
Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Received: from bart.plewnet.com (bart.plewnet.com [192.168.69.1])
by homer.plewnet.com (8.11.6/8.11.6) with ESMTP id h4
Which version of SquirrelMail are you using. 1.4.x believes the headers
of the message, so if it's Content-Type="text/html" but there is no
Mime-Version header then it doesn't pay attention to the Content-Type
header. Content-Type is meaningless without a Mime-Version in almost all
cases.
Again,
I seem to be having with html email. Some messages view fine while other
show as text. Any suggestions? I have downloaded and installed the latest
version of the plugin.
