Which version of SquirrelMail are you using.  1.4.x believes the headers
of the message, so if it's Content-Type="text/html" but there is no
Mime-Version header then it doesn't pay attention to the Content-Type
header.  Content-Type is meaningless without a Mime-Version in almost all
cases.

Again, I'd need to know the SquirrelMail version and to see the message
headers.
