Random emails take hours to show up.
Emails with attachments over 1 MB are the most frequent late arrivals.
While other emails with larger attachments will show up in a few minutes.
This also happens when sending email from one office member to another - both
using squirrelmail – same account.

downloading form squirrelmail website.
I can read my mail and see mails but I can read only my first email. After

Nuts,
I have about 2000 users.Of late checking mail for each user is quite slow.
You have to wait for long often before the Mail box opens. Does any one
know what the reason could be.
Downloading other pages is not a problem.
I am running MTA - Sendmail, MUA - Squirelmail,Platform - Redhat linux
Hiya,
I'm using 1.4.1, but with big mailboxes (500+ messages), SM becomes
extremely unresponsive. It hangs, and checks, and sometimes even does
not display a message list ... Any idea how ?

Yes... that'd help I'd say. 0.0.0.0 has a special meaning if I
remember correctly, but 127.0.0.1 would be a lot safer.

PHPA 1.3.3
Our server is our email, web, and dns server. Today our dsl was down and
squirrelmail was slower than molasses on the LAN until the dsl came back
up. That shouldn't effect the LAN performance but it di

Squirrelmail does not deliver mail; it reads it. Your problems a
Terribly sorry, but Squirrelmail has virtually nothing to do with e-mail
being sent. The SMTP server you use, however, does. I suggest checking
your SMTP server settings to be sure that they are correct -- or, at the
least, the same as the settings on the client that seems to go quickly.

I don't think anything is going to be done about this. Infact I'm quiet
sure of this. This is due to the fact that Squirrelmail is a WEBMAIL
