I am using Microsoft outlook 2013 and lost all the e-mails that I had stored
in my inbox. I went to the squirrel mail server to see if they would be
there but they were not. Can anyone help?

I have had a look in Outlook, and once you have deleted messages there is
a "purge deleted emails" option in the menus.
Unfortunately I cannot find an option which is an IMAP equivalent to
"empty deleted folder on exit".
This explains the behaviour and I may write a macr

number of emails deleted via outlook.
This figure remains until I view the folder in question and then click on
"Check Mail".
Its not a big problem, but I would like to at least understand what causes
this.

missing after the RPM upgrade. As you suggest, it was trivial to

I am running SquirrelMail 1.4.4 on one (Linux) server, and the mail server
is remote and runs courier.
I have set up DNS filters but it does nothing (as far as I can tell).
There is a file "dnscache" under data directory, but it is always empty.
The plugins I have are:

I have been looking all over for this, but how can I set SM so that
messages are mot saved to the sent folder?

Is there anyway to change this behavior? It appears to be somewhat
limited, since imap login doesn't necessarily equal smtp login.
