Here's a quirk in said plugin :-) I exported my Outlook2000 contacts, and tried to import them using the latest version of the abook_import_export plugin.
1. When I export my Outlook2000 contacts, what CSV format do I choose? DOS? Windows? Does it matter? I get error swith either. I then go to "Addresses", and BROWSE for the CSV file, find it, and click on "Import CSV File". And SM always comes back with Please select a file for uploading. You can do this by clicking on the browse button on the Address Book page. This is with SM 1.50, apache 1.3.29, on Debian testing. Looks like it is either not uploading the file, or the plugin can't find it after it's been uploaded. (I have verified that the CSV file exists on Windows) Thoughts? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jonathan Angliss Sent: Friday, May 07, 2004 1:16 PM To: Lisa Bryan Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [SM-USERS] Importing addresses Hello Lisa, On Friday, May 07, 2004, Lisa Bryan wrote... > Is there a way to import addresses from Outlook or another file into > my Squirrelmail address book? There is a plugin that will import from a CSV file, which I believe outlook has the ability to export to. The plugin is the abook_import_export, but has been known to have some quirks in. -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Posting Hints: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.mail.squirrelmail.user/16718 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Sleepycat Software Learn developer strategies Cisco, Motorola, Ericsson & Lucent use to deliver higher performing products faster, at low TCO. http://www.sleepycat.com/telcomwpreg.php?From=osdnemail3 -- squirrelmail-users mailing list List Address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List Archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=2995 List Info: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Sleepycat Software Learn developer strategies Cisco, Motorola, Ericsson & Lucent use to deliver higher performing products faster, at low TCO. http://www.sleepycat.com/telcomwpreg.php?From=osdnemail3 -- squirrelmail-users mailing list List Address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List Archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=2995 List Info: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users
