Are all my problems solvable by a system or server configuration change,
or does the issue lie in settings on the firewall? Please review and

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?

Hello List.
I'm running SM 1.2.11 with qmail/courier imap. I'm running into some
trouble. I hope someone can help me out.
1. If I try to update my preferences in the options folder it doesn't get
updated. When I click 'submit,' I get back to the options page saying the
preferences have been upda
Well, the base_uri that is being computed for you appears to be wrong.
Can you please try replacing the file functions/display_messages.php
with the one in the attached tarball (remember to make a backup ;>)?

Greetings all,
Been having problems with one person who is attempting to apply the
patch to 1.2.11 included with the multilogin plugin. Patch rejects
everything in the diff file, but the rejects are *exactly* correct in
that there are no discrepancies visible to the human eye, so I cannot

each other's preferences.
Is it possible it has something to do with the ".pref" file that gets
created in the data directory if $username doesn't get p
What are the chances of getting an updated plugins tarball of all the

You didn't say what the permissions are on the "../../data" directory
itself. It sounds like that directory's ownership and/or permissions
are not correct. Or try hard-coding the path to your data directory
(not using "../"). It doesn't matter what the SM/data dir looks like if
you're not using
Try deleting your user pref files. Not sure this is the same problem, but
whenever I have a user who says its taking a really long time to get their
message lists this seems to fix it. I don't know if the file is getting
corrupted or if they are just messing up theri settinngs but it seems to

I was expecting it to reappear... what I was hoping however was it'd
be different, and it'd start a new session. Could

Dear All,
I recently upgraded from RedHat 7.2 to 8.0 (fresh
install, same hardware), using all RH-supplied versions of PHP (4.2.2), Apache
(2.0.40) and SM.
I immediately noticed that upon signon to SM (any
recent 1.2.x version) it takes a really long time to login (1 minute or more) -
