Are you using register_globals set to Off (0)? If so, is that all your code?

Hi Dan,
You seem to be using the htmlarea plugin, slightly unsuccessfully. There
is a bug in the instructions on how to setup the plugin, and as a result,
the html counter part to your emails are being messed up. Here is how you
fix it...
- Open functions/smtp.php
- Search for $email_type
- On

Not sure how Outlook's http mail service works, but I am pretty sure it
won't work with Squirrelmail--I believe it's designed for Hotmail, and
other services that don't provide standard POP/IMAP access.
But Squirrelmail is simply a client for an IMAP service--why not connect
your Outlook directly

Often times I'd like to include an ASCII file into a message I am
composing. I'd rather it not be off in an attachment. Is there
a plugin available to allow including an ASCII file into the
contents of a message that is being composed, as opposed to
having to attach it ?
I am running 1.2.10.

Mike,
Looks like Rick suggested something that might work. He says maybe procmail
might be the middleware we are lookingg for. I am waiting for his response on
more details. If that works it will be great!

I've moved over from pine so its a bit slower. But the only think I really
miss is the "bounce" feature and I'd like that limited to selected
usernames.. Beyound that every feature I've wanted has already been in
there.

Thanks for the detailed information. I was not afraid of the change, just
wanted to evaluate before i did. All the material i have recd. suggests its a

Correct. You may want to look into using stunnel or another similar tool
to prevent passwords from being sniffed on the LAN.

Not sure why she was the only one having this problem, but I looked at the
settings in php.ini and noticed a line memory_limit 8M. I upped that to 16,
and now it works fine.
