Alternatively, I suppose, equally good would be an option to show the end
status at the real last move rather than at the end of the notation.

Sometimes I'm analyzing a game then it ends. The result is saved at the
end of the notation and not at the point of the last move. I'd like to be
able to copy all the further analysis as text and paste it in as a comment
after the real last move. Unfortunately, the comment editor performs a

Steve,
I've just noticed that the issue with losing keyboard focus appears to
happen to me when Stockfish has exhausted the cpu capacity. Pausing
Stockfish or clicking on the Save button allows me to regain focus.

My memory is slow these days but I do think I've seen the same faults
appear myself, both the focus and the popup but I'll be blowed if I
can reproduce them now. Something for me to look out for anyhow!

Are you sure that there is not another window open, such as a Tip?

Sometimes, when I try to use the comment editor, I can't get focus in
the comment entry area. I am then forced to try a bunch of random
clicks and button pushes until the problem goes away, which it always
does, eventually, though I never know what the secret technique is.
I assume this is a
Moving Comment Editor Window to lower window presents a "bug". The up/down
scrollbar is missing and so the user can't scroll down to click in the comment
window. Of course, the work around is undocking this window.

That's a nice one, indeed. Not only for it's simplicity. :)

Hi!
Attached little patch updates the position in the comment editor board
panel as you browse through a game.
Nice for those who - like me - have this habit of keeping the editor
open while at work.
Cheers,

It seems that comment editor bug reappeared. When browsing the game with
comment editor open, all the comments/NAGs are copied. This is extremely
awkward as it requires closing CE after each move.

I've to come back to this issue, as I think I'm not the only
one who uses the comment editor quite a lot.

What about
set board [::board::n
Hi!
Currently the comment editor (Ctrl-E) uses a pretty tiny board, probably
a bit larger would be in order (size 3 e.g.). Additionally there's
plenty of empty space from the left to this board and then to the
annotation symbols. I think this is unintended. Maybe I stumble upon a
window width
