Howdy, As I say I use SCID to analyze games to PGN. After the game is done the engine usually stops which is a great benefit, but get this... After I _close_ SCID, SCID and Houdini are gone from the Processes list, and then a few seconds later Houdini shows back up running full speed, oy! Anyo

Alexander, Thank you for your replies. I do not program. For Base directory control all I notice is that many programs will always return to the last used Dir, even after closed. As I say I am getting this from SCID now, Save Options did work. For Screen Reader integration I have no knowledge,
