"Saving Options" did just recently finally work in regards to maintaining a static location of the folder I wish to use as a base directory for work in SCID! :) I had done so many times before but no joy, now its working. I will blame first my clumsiness and only distantly SCID :) Keep up the good work, SCID is a beauty. WinBoard 4.4 for JAWS is released and represents the very first advanced chess software for the blind in the world, please spread the word to any blind chess player friends. Will SCID integrate with screen readers and have complete keyboard access too? I don't know. :) Dave
