I've got a big game of variations open in a scid window, and I can't save it!
For some reason, the scid program won't accept keyboard input (noticed this bug
occuring before once in a while and just restarted the program to get the
keyboard back... don't want to lose all my analysis though!).

With all this discussion of different flavors of Linux, I've got to ask... has
anyone else running SCID on any platform experienced the problem I described in
my earlier post about a week ago (comments disappearing while browsing through
variations)?

Hi,
I'm curious how you filter games ending in checkmate with the search/header
menu. When I look there, I can see how to filter decisive games (1-0,0-1), but
those would include resignations, wouldn't they? Or am I missing something?
Thanks!

Okay, now I'm noticing comments disappearing (wonder if it's an old bug, since
it was mentioned previously on the list)... This is the situation in which they
disappeared:
Wrote a comment on a move, then used +V to add stockfish analysis variations to
the move, and also to the move after. Then
Seems to have been solved by installing SCID 4.3 (had 4.2.1 with the issue)...
at least so far, I haven't had the keyboard lock issue occur.

Maybe important to mention, using SCID on Ubuntu 10.04 with Gnome. (Noticed an
earlier thread about "keyboard losing focus" with Ubuntu, but not sure it
applies.)

Not sure if this is expected behavior or a bug?
At various times, I've had the keyboard lock while working with SCID. (I think
it's an issue with the program since the keyboard works fine with other
programs, and it will work again if I close and re-open SCID.)
The latest example? I'm worki
