e 64Kbit Rybka down to 1 CPU yesterday, as I was exploring the zombie process issue. When I set it to use all 8 CPUs, it hits 650k nodes/sec. So it looks as if I am paying a performance penalty to use 32bit Rybka under wine. Harumph. Dale -- Dale Emery Consultant to software teams and leaders Web:

32 bit Rybka under wine reports that it processes 436k nodes/sec. 64bit Rybka under microwine reports 300k nodes per sec for the same position. My wine won't run 64bit Rybka, so I don't know how that would fare. Dale -- Dale Emery Consultant to software teams and leaders Web: http://dh
