e 64Kbit Rybka down to 1 CPU yesterday, as I was exploring
the zombie process issue. When I set it to use all 8 CPUs, it hits 650k
nodes/sec. So it looks as if I am paying a performance penalty to use 32bit
Rybka under wine. Harumph.

Web:
32 bit Rybka under wine reports that it processes 436k nodes/sec.
64bit Rybka under microwine reports 300k nodes per sec for the same
position. My wine won't run 64bit Rybka, so I don't know how that would
fare.

If I instruct Rybka to use only 1 CPU, it creates only 1 process, which Scid
is able to shut down properly.

set Rybka to use only 1 CPU, but I'd rather be able to run it at
full capacity.)

Let Crystal Re
s square. Then move the mouse off that
square, and release the button. Though the piece is selected for movement,
the selection isn't highlighted (or otherwise indicated, as far as I can
tell).
Then click on the destination square, and the piece will move there.

I was missing earlier: In order to generate the score
/before/ Black's move, Fruit assumed that Black would play Bb7. In other
words, -0.20 is the score for Fruit's recommended move, based on the given
continuation.
Am I understanding better now?

When I analyze a game, is there a way to instruct SCID to include the
engine's score for its recommended moves?
Thanks,
