Long ago I promised I might have tried to come up with a proposal for
better icons. If still the only requirement is the size 16x16 pixels,
I could try to do something...

Let's summarize things we seem to agree:
- The main icon might be changed.
- The icon upper left in the program windows should be changed, if
technically possible, to match the main icon.
- Icons within the main windows can be changed.
- Startup window can be off by default (it might pop-up in case

answers. As a common user, it is always nice to have attention from
the developers and from other users, even though we can disagree on
