I reported yesterday that I was having problems with my cvs build of
scid on Ubuntu Jaunty. I've tried compiling on both 64-bit and 32-bit
Ubuntu and get the similar errors on both. Here's what I got today on
32-bit Ubuntu Jaunty:
can't read "pgnfile": no such variable

OK, thanks for that - didn't know you could use the arrows keys to
make moves, cool. Can't see any indicators on the board though :-( I'm
sure they could do this, just a simple outline in red of the two
squares the piece has moved to would be cool.

No, not yet. Would be great, however, if something similar to xboard or
the like could be done, I agree.

Oh! It's solved!!
It was a matter of directories. When choosing the engine, Scid asks for some
"directory". There I put the directory where crafty is installed. However,
now I have changed this directory by pressing button "~.scid" to the right.
And now it works!
