Sorry, my spanish is non-existent, could we stick to english, please?

I don't know what you refer by "Crafty configuration".

The scid part of it. Not building crafty.

What I do is:
1. download crafty (version 23.0, the last one in the ftp repository of Bob Hyatt) 2. install crafty by typing "make linux" (i didn't tell this, but i am working on a Ubuntu / Linux operating system)

Did this myself right now, build proceeded, crafty 23.0 works.

Doing this, I can run "crafty" from the shell.

Yes.

So, then i try to add it as an engine in Scid. I open Scid, and in the Engines windows, I choose "New..". I set the directory where Crafty is and that's it. I think it should work, but it doesn't. It says that the engine had an internal error and has to be closed.

See the attached screenshot how your crafty config within Scid should look like. This works for me in current cvs with crafty 23.0 without problems.
