I installed TclTkAqua 8.5.4, how do I configure the Scid's makefile to
compile? Any suggestions?

I suppose so, but it also depends on CPU alignment requests for example. So

Scid 3.6.24 did not compile, because crafty fails.
Download scid 3.6.25 and try it!

thanks for the suggestions.
I went back to my normal CClient connection and found after a couple of
logins to FICS using Scid all my account setting had got messed around.
After an hour or so of hunting around I got all my settings back to where I
wanted them, so I'd say unless you
