My two sound cards work fine according to the sounds produced in
redhat-config-sound
and here's the modules.conf file:
alias sound-slot-0 via82cxxx_audio
alias sound-slot-1 es1371
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/a
