Is there any RedHat 8.0 workaround for bug 4433 in glibc? The problem is
the following:
I have 'hosts: files dns' in my /etc/nsswitch.conf but whenever an
application (telnet, ftp or similar) tries to resolve something that is in
/etc/hosts file (such as 'localhost'), the resolver sends a

/etc/hosts is used by the resolver but not dig. Sure enough I'd got entries
in there from before I set up named.
