I just installed the standard Red Hat supplied
environment with no real changes from the stock RPM's,
just added the RPM updates to the various packages.

hello,
i compiled the new 2.2.19 kernel last night and i am running into a
problem when i try to load updated modules. the insmod fails with this
error:

i tried a search on that error msg and didnt come up with much. what is
causing that error??

is.. I don't know. I don't have those devices on my system :)
Did you forget to compile virtual terminal support into your kernel? I'd
check that and also check to see if you have those devices in /dev (man

I upgraded a RH 6.2 to 7.0 tonight and now I have problems booting.
Initially I was unable to boot at all but i went to 'linux single' and
was able to get to inittab and change the boot to level 3. Now when I
try to boot I receive the following errors:
can't locate module
