Hi, I just have a query on errors I get in the system.log file on my RH8.0 machine.
Feb 23 12:49:43 hippo modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-0 Feb 23 12:49:44 hippo modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-0-3 I get these errors periodically but consistently. I don't have a sound card in the machine, as it's a server and unnecessary to have one in there. I run kernel 2.4.18-24.8.0 as provided by the Red Hat rpms without any modifications. My modules.conf has the following: [EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# cat /etc/modules.conf alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc alias eth0 eepro100 alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx alias usb-controller usb-uhci alias scsi_hostadapter1 aha1542 Any help is appreciated.
