ld-linux.so.2 is Netscape's statically linked libraries. I have to pull up a java applet for our firewall at work to get internet access. I'm alway kill -9 'ing the thing...yes it hits 98% and the machine comes to a screaming halt. Sometimes it dies after 20 minutes...sometim

Hidong, ld-linux.so.2 is Netscape's backend process that handles things such as communication. Killing it with Netscape active will kill any Netscape windows (including any newsreader/composer/etc windows). In some cases when Netscape dies or 'hangs', this process remains activ
