Hidong,

ld-linux.so.2 is Netscape's backend process that handles things such as communication.

Killing it with Netscape active will kill any Netscape windows (including any 
newsreader/composer/etc windows).

In some cases when Netscape dies or 'hangs', this process remains active and can cause 
problems. So when that happens, 
you want to make sure to kill the process before starting Netscape again.

If you have further problems with this process, then netscape support would probably 
be a better place to start.
