Any online documents to get me along quickly with configuring KSH (PDKSH) on my 7.2
system? I'm specifically trying to work my way through all the rc and profile file
changes required. For example, how do I configure the HISTFILE location and HISTORY
size so that it applies to every

1: I'm trying to set ksh as my login shell. I've downloaded pdksh and it does
run, but there are clearly other settings and/or config files I need to adjust.
For example, I can't even do "startx".

I thought that Red Hat 5.2 included the pdksh ( public domain korn shell ),
but I don't see it or a link to it
under RH 6.1 ( at least ot under /bin/*sh).

Some Linux distributions do include ksh in their packages.
Check your Linuxcd or whatever it is.. ksh should be there
The package is often named pdksh (publicdomain ksh)
otherwise you can download it from this link
