Greetings everyone. First, thanks to everyone that helped me out with the NFS mount questions I had. Now, onto the next problem. I've got a RH 6.2 box running the default kernel. Its primary function is that of a fax server. The fax software that we use is VSIFax, which only supports up to 6.2.

I need to use RSH sessions in rapid succession (if not in parallel) from a script. My problem is that the first RSH session works perfectly, but rapid subsequent sessions are timing out. I considered it might be a reverse DNS lag, and disabled the -a flag on the rshd line of inetd.conf (but left
