I would probably abandon WU-Ftp for something like ProFTP, mainly
because I've been burned by a WU-FTP exploit before. But, given that you
are running it, are you getting to the login? If not, check
/etc/xinetd.d and be sure it's enabled. If so, then check /etc/ftpusers
and be sure your user is no
I have redhat 7.3 installed and kernel rebuitlt to utilize i830 chip set
thanks to David Lloyd and the others on this list who provided the needed
info.
Now tring to get wu-ftp to accept an ftp session.
