could you send you XF86config file (/etc/X11/).
Also, can you try to do
startx >& xlog
and send the xlog file .

Here's the story:
2515CDS Toshiba Satellite.
The video chip is a Chips & Tech 69000, with 2 MB RAM. This chip is
supported under XFree86 3.3.3. I believe
