I've installed Squirrelmail and Webmin/Usermin on my Redhat 8 box, and
have the following problem:
When trying to log in to Squirrelmail or Webmin with Opera 6.05 I have to
do it twice.
When I log in to Squirrelmail the first time I get an error saying: "You
must be logged in to access this page

This has happened on at least three occasions on three different machine
All attempts to login to my server now generate "login incorrect"
error msgs. This applies to all system logins. Passwords and
login names should be correct..
I used a root disk to login to the system and changed the root
password to null. This allowed me to login as root when the
system w

I would start with giving myself execute permissions on the directory
chmod u+x /home/Stephen
Then you should be able to cd into it and do a listing on it. I forget
which of these you get with x permisions
