I have installed Redhat 8 on a PC with windowsXP running on already and used GRUB as a
boot loader, till I tried to convert my windows partition from NTFS to FAT32 using
Partition magic.
Now the windows doesn’t boot it just goes back to the GRUB menu, the linux is up and
running no prob

he told me to edit the /etc/fstab ,and specify the /
mount point as the /dev/hdbx,but now label!

Dear all,
When I install Win98 on free space, I can not boot to Linux anymore.
I use GRUB rather than LILO. Then, I boot with Linux Diskette with parameter
"vmlinuz root=/dev/hda2", almost everything OK but I still can't see the
boot loader. Everytime while I restart my PC back to Win98.
