I have same MB, dual 400Mhz, very stable. I think can do 600Mhz or better - check Tyan website. I have Adaptec 2940uw and 2944 (differential) SCSI cards, both configured at 6.1 install and work well. Cheaper is 2940a - depends on what you need. If you want speed, check hardware list to see if

I have a dual PII Red Hat 6.1 machine. The motherboard is an asus p2b-ds with on-board adaptec aic-7890 scsi. I also have an asus sc200 50-pin narrow scsi pci card in the machine. This scsi card has the symbios 53c810 scsi chipset. Everything works great. Good luck, Hidong y u r i k wro
