Hi, well, as u know recently i have bought the redhat 7.0. I have at lease 5
gib left on my pc hdd. Then y the installer told me that the swap partition
is unallocated; and the reason is no primary. What the hell is this? Hope
someone can tell me and what can i do with this? Thank you!
Hi, the trouble is that the bootmanager which comes with Linux can't boot
from an NTFS partition. But you can use the Windows 2000 bootmanager to
boot Linux. So never install the LILO on the MBR, thou. Make a boot floppy.
Use the boot floppy to boot your Linux system and then follow the steps

I really don't have any idea of wat's gone wrong with the partitioning with
disk druid. But something i want to tell u more is that, the mountpoint for
the windows partitions is 'not set'. Is there any problem to leave it 'not
set'?

those terms \ or \root or whatever are too new to me). So u've suggest me to
use fdisk, is it easy to use? I have heard that fdisk is a bit hard to use.
