but the quick way to see if it is an ide drive is to look at the back of the
drive and see if it has the block of jumpers to set it for master or
slave... that type of configuration is I believe exclusive to ide drives.

This isn't an xwindows firewall it's an interface to the firewall setup
from an xwindow... and this is good,,, because the firewall , in order
to be effective must run at a much lower level than an xwindow... but it
can have its setup done in a gui just fine.

windows, LINUX.. use linux several of the other operating systems do

probably a bios limitation, it wants to boot from one of the first two
drives found. When you add in the IDE drive, it becomes the first one. The

bootable one by fdisk. The bios won't try to boot from any partition at
