The first v.90 firmware
wasn't very good at connecting and if you still have X2 firmware
instead of v.90 firmware that would completely account for the
problem. If you haven't already checked I would definitely check.

Hi! I'm looking for an RPM for the Gnome or KDE Rio utilities, does
anyone know where to find them? I have checked RPMfind and Freshmeat
but all I am coming up with are tarballs. Any help getting pointed in
the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The good news is that the commercial driver is only about $35 to
support the DS-XG, $25 for the driver and an extra $10 for the DS-XG
support. I am quite happy listening to MP3s, CDs etc. with my DS-XG
and the OSS driver.
