cant ping

Hi there again... i'am the one off security level... Something strange my redhat 8.0 (server) its connect to a lan and can ping to a host using win98, but this host cant ping to my redhot... can the resone be my security level, that is in higth (i cant change it yet)?? Thanks Tiago C
