Good Morning,
I have been beating my head for the last couple of days. The one issue is SAMBA, but
that is not the
reason for my question. There is an application within RH that is a graphical way to
install a package.
It gives you a menu and the like, but it is also one that will allow yo
needed. For what, who knows.
Have you played with SAMBA much? If you want to take this off the list
that is OK with me.

Good Evening,
I had sent out the first message with HTML, I knew I had done it, but did not have a
way to turn it off.
So here it is again without the HTML.
SORRY...

Good Evening,
Well first off I would like to thank everyone that helped me

Jeff,
I did a search on a search engine www.google.com and it gave me this link.
http://www.google.com/search?q=transac+SQL&num=10&meta=hl%3Den%26lr%3D&safe=off&btnG=Google+Search
There is about 105 different links for what you are looking for. I did not look at
them, but you might want to.
Thank you. Then is just a Solaris issue. At least that is what I had been told in
training.

I also thought that /usr had to be off root. Because if it is not then if you have a
problem,
that is one that MUST be access to get access to the machine. I might be thinking of
Solaris, but I thought it was linux also??

Darryl,
I believe they are under a dir /bin/boot.
It might be /usr/boot.
Should be one of these two.

I like the Tyan boards. In fact that would have been the one that I used for my
server, but Tyan cancelled the board on me. So I had to take the Intel.

If you go to http://www.opensec.net/netmon.html It has tools for doing network
traffic monitoring.

David,
I had this same problem. You most likely have the BIOS set for LBA, try setting it to
CHS and see if that
works. It did for me. I did a completely new install after the change, it does not
mean you do. I had wiped the
drive clean because I was not sure what had happened.
Good Luck.
No I know that they are correct. I have used them before. The Sun machine that I had
on this address worked. I will give me ISP
a call. I am using the same gateway address for my Win box. So it should be correct.
I will also try changing as you suggested.

Charles,
Thank you, I had the gateway information on a piece of paper. So it was easy to find.
Doing what Robert stated did
not work. I had the Gateway information already in the system. I can pull it up and
it shows being attached to eth0.
