Good Evening,
Well first off I would like to thank everyone that helped me
try to get my network issue fixed. I have it running. So now I
have
a box on the net for linux. It is a server, but the
question that I have is when I run linuxconf on the screen behind it I get some
strange
information. What is tells me is this:
Error message from remadmin :Gtk-CRITICAL **: file
gtkwidget.c: line 1584 (gtk_widget_map) : assertion 'GTK_WIDGET_VISIABLE
(widget) == TRUE' Failed.
Error message from remadmin :Gtk-CRITICAL **: file
gtkwidget.c: line 817 (gtk_widget_map) : assertion 'GTK_WIDGET_VISIABLE (widget)
== NULL' Failed.
Why is this happening?? I was able to config my network
access. So I am soooo confused, well that does not take
much...
The other question which is something that I should know, but
for some reason I am drawing a complete blank.. I can telnet to my box
with a program
that runs under Win 2K, it is called reflection 2. I get
the log in prompt, but if I type in
Login Root
Password xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It tells me login incorrect. WHY?? I have root
access on the box. I am currently log in as root, or is that why?
(On the box itself)
Thank you for your help.
