I am running RedHat 9. When I go to Soundcard Detection, the test sound
plays fine, but none of the sounds under Sound Events in Preferences
will play without error. If I open the Audio Player and try to play a
wav file, it says 'Couldn't open audio', and check that I have the right
plugin selected
I have an error when running up2date. I found this when receiving RHN's
notice to update the certificate. I ran up2date prior to installing the
rpm from RedHat and after, so I believe it was pre-existing. I found
some notes on the web regarding the need for the rpm-python package, but
this is what
Has anyone here been able to OpenLDAP to work with TLS on a RedHat 7.3
server? At this point, I'm just looking for someone who has TLS working
on their RH7.3 server with the standard packages.
I have been around and around on the LDAP list and no luck, yet. I have

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ldap]# rpm -ivh gq-0.4.0-5.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.2 is needed by gq-0.4.0-5
I have had my workstation dual booting between WinXP and RH Linux with
an i686 system and dual head video card and all works fine in both
platforms :-) However, when in Windows, I can get resolution of
1280x1024 and a number of other options above the 1024x768 res. In RH, I
can only get to 1024x768
