I am trying to get the mod_jk2 module
to behave on my rh 9 system . But the
apache server that is loaded is 2.0.40
Redhat claims to have backported the
security patch for 2.0.43 but any
mod_jk2.so module I try to use
says it is incompatible
Seems like a catch 22.
I cant upgrade to 2.0.43 using r
I have just upgraded from rh 7.2 to RH 9
and with that came some little hissy fits.
One of them is the errors I get in my error log
for apache 2.0 at startup.
I have done some research but nothing makes sense
with these errors. I can remove the php4.conf and
the errors go away but there must be s

I am a bit puzzled. I had a working sendmail.cf
file that provided me with a working sendmail
prior to upgrading to RH 9 from RH 7.2. Which
allowed receiving of e-mail to port 25
I am using a ADSL connection and before upgrading
was able to telnet to myhost.domain 25 and/or localhost 25
Now after
40 threads for tomcat and 10 for
mysqld
Can someone enlighten me.

How about a hybrid solution.
Use Dreamweaver on a windows system and then
connect to the linux server using a network mapped drive under samba.
That is how I do it. I run IBM WSAD 4.03 and then export my files to
the linux server
just my 2 cents.

Are there any tools out there beside BMC Patrol
that I can use to monitor my system for any
process that either exceeds CPU threshold time
for a set time frame. I am in particular looking
for any run-away processes that might be grabbing
the system
Thanks

It probably is easy but I am at a loss
I tried doing an upgrade but that appears

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am having
great difficulty in getting a rexec session to start

I have modified the pam.d/rexec file to allow access and
enabled the xinetd.d/rexec file. I have also donwloaded

After figuring out if you have the right UART and have set the serial line
speed to at least 115200 use ATZ4 in the init string and see what happens.
I believe that this is the init for hardware handshake and V90.
