I just loaded linux on for the second time and I'm having difficulty
compiling a simple
hello world program.
my file: Hello.cc

cout<<"Hello World"< iostream.h No such file or directory
I then tried to link manually to this file and got another odd error...can't
rememb
I downloaded kernel patch-2.2.13.gz and patch-2.2.14.gz and attempted to
install using two methods outlined in the README.
The easy way was with the script: linux/scripts/patch-kernel
It goes through the process, then asks me:
File to patch?:

I'm having some major install problems due to the fact that some of my
hardware
is pretty new. I have an nVidia GeForce AGP256 Video card and a 34 gig hard
drive, Ultra-Dma 66 Controller with a Pentium III 733. I can install Red Hat
6.1, but it doesn't recognize my video card or my controller.
