I also like Vnc and I had used Vnc,
but I find at least one advantage of WiredX.
WiredX is just X server, so I did not have to install any program on
my RedHat box. I just invoked IE on my Windows box and clicked mouse
buttons just a few times. And from my impression, WiredX runs quick

provided to web browser directly without any fee!
I could login to RedHat/GNOME desktop through gdm
from IE 5.0. Its performance was not so bad.
