I have researched this problem. I am using stock RH 9.
If I try to run xmms, it gives me a "segmentation fault."
I know that on Red Hat 8 this problem was fairly known and
the xmms bug discussion forum said the solution was to install
the arts package. But the arts package is already insta
l version of CommuniGate(tm) Pro*
