Is there a way to troubleshoot where performance bottlenecks may be occurring with httpd? Such as some module such as mod_rewrite? Can you print out what files httpd is currently serving? Starting a couple days ago, it's as if my CPU has been replaced with one far less powerful. Just about everyth

I wanted to thank you all for your responses. I reviewed and applied your suggestions and the problem appears to be solved. To clarify, my firewall box is also the samba server for a home network of Linux and Windows clients. All clients behind the firewall have statically assigned IPs so there is

I have a redhat 8.0 box as a gateway/firewall for a home network using iptables. I have two NICs and eth0 which is the cable internet connection is resolved through DHCP from the ISP. I am having a recurring problem with the inability to resolve host names. I enter a DNS address into the resolv.con
